We have had the honor of collaborating with Option in an exciting rebranding project that has completely transformed its brand identity. Option, a technology company in Chile, focuses on the development of services aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of companies. This project was carried out in close collaboration with the Option team, including its founders, Fernando Oliver and Raimundo Page, whose creative minds and active participation were crucial for the success of the work, together with their talented design and UX team.
The new Option logo is a testament to our deep inspiration in Bauhaus aesthetics and innovation. The Bauhaus was a revolutionary school of design and art that emerged more than a century ago in Germany. At its core, design coexisted with art, theater, letters and many other creative disciplines, making it a rich and diverse source of reference. This influence is reflected in the typography of the logo, which borrows characters from the classic Bauhaus typeface of Herbert Bayer.
The logo is not only a tribute to the Bauhaus, but it is also a statement of Option's creative, exploratory and disruptive identity. As in the Bauhaus, where design and art converged to create new forms of expression, Option seeks to break barriers in technology and digital transformation, merging innovation with aesthetics.
The isotype of the logo is especially intriguing. It represents an open circle that invites observers to fill it with their own interpretations and concepts, referring to the “O” in Option. This figure symbolizes Option's versatility and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of its customers and the constantly evolving digital world.
